Well today was another busy busy Monday.  We were busy with appointments for me, Ted and then S had one way up at Immanuel.

On the way home tonight…I got a “Beaver Lake Violation Citation”.  The Idiot Deputy Barney with his mouth full of tobacco chew said that I did not come to a “complete” stop.  Now, my husband and son were in the truck right behind me.  And If you know my husband, you know that he loves to give people shit for stupid mistakes.  So as my husband and son drove by with me on the side of the road, Barney tells me that I did not come to a stop, and that he was going to give me a Beaver Lake ticket.  I tried to explain to him that I stopped behind the stop sign, and I saw him behind the trees.  He tells me that there was no way I could have seen him, and then tells me that he could give me a Cass County ticket which would cost me $100.  I decided that arguing with him was not going to get me anywhere.

Well it is off to work in the morning… I really dont want to go, and cant wait until we get on the road and get the Frack out of Nebraska…Only 3 more days…

TGIF.. and I only have to work one more day. Today as soon as I walked in the door I got hit with a personnel issue that I hate dealing with. One of my tellers has decided to make a govt. phone line her personal line of communication. She has parents calling her at work to make arrangements for a fund raiser… If you work for the govt you know it is a huge no no… and I have talked to her about it several times… well I have it fixed for now… I called comm squad and had them temp turn that particular phone line off.

I have been dragging my feet all week, I have a suspense due on Tuesday for appraisals. I hate writing appraisals. I have to be fair, and just… even when I don’t like to… I always feel like the people that are working so hard are getting screwed because they make errors, and the ones that are slacking are not getting errors, and just floating by getting a pay check.

Apolo is getting better… the poo is getting thicker, and he is eating now and drinking water out of a dropper…Starbuck is becoming a little shit… she basically has made herself quite at home… and being a kitten in every way…

The kid is doing really well, he is doing his chores and is being very helpful with everything… it is so nice when he does stuff on his own and takes on some responsibilities. He is going to have a friend stay the night tomorrow. should be a fun night.

We finally got the shed close to being done. I am very happy about that..we will be able to move around the garage a little bit easier.

Ted seems to be feeling a little better.  It really worries me when he does not feel well, and when I get worried I get bitchy… with a capitol B….

Our son really pissed me off today… He failed to tell me the truth when I straight out asked him a question.  After about 15 minutes of talking about it he finally fessed up, but does not understand why what he did and lied about was wrong… FRUSTRATION!!!  I decided on my way home I was not going to harp on the subject, if I dont harp on it he might actually think about it, or at least contemplate why mom is not  bugging him about it.

Ted announced at dinner that the other kitten will be coming home tommorrow…although I enjoy animals, I am leary of having another being to clean up after.  I know I should just be happy that we have the ability to give beings a good homes… I just worry about what certain people will think when they find out and wonder why we gave up on cat and now we have 2 more…

Well this is my first post… hopefully I will be able to maintain at least a regular blog.

Today S and I had lunch with Melinda and Kendra at Summer Kitchen. It was nice to be able to sit and talk to both of them. When we got home S and I mowed, and got a few chores done around the house. He is really trying to grow up. I am very proud of him for his accomplishments.

S has a dentist appointment in the morning, and then we are picking up Ryan. S has not been able to really do much with any of his friends this summer so far. He told me today that he is getting bored and lonely. Wish there was more I could do to help him out.

I really hope we are able to go out of town at the end of the month. We all need a vacation.
